Page 74 vehicle damage table...damage results:

In Crew Stunned, the "until the end of its next turn" only applies to the vehicle only being able to fire snap shots as a result of having suffered crew stunned.

In the next sentence, it goes on about how the vehicle cannot move, and how a zooming flyer can only move 18" and not turn.

But notice how it does not again say "until the end of its next turn".

Now if I havent played previous editions of 40k, how will I know these effects are also only temporary?

After all, if you read the Immobilized entry, it is very similar in that no "until end of turn" phrase is mentioned.

So on what basis - other than having played previous versions of 40k - am I to interpret that the effect "The vehicle cannot move unless it is a zooming flyer" ends at the end of the next turn?

GW is scared of girls. Why do you think they have so much trouble sculpting attractive female models? Because girls have cooties and the staff at GW don't like looking at them for too long because it makes them feel funny in their naughty place.

Yup, as with your Regrouping issue, there is no stated end time for that condition.

The context of the Crew stunned rule is telling us that it lasts "until the end of its next turn."

Also the summary is written infinitely better:

"The vehicle can only fire Snap Shots until the end of the next turn and cannot move unless it is a Zooming Flyer. In which case it can only move 18" and cannot turn."(427 BRB)

Clearly it is intended to only last until the end of the next turn.

That would help more in this case, yes.

Or it would, if GW didn't consistently say that where the summary differs from the main rules, you should go by the main rules
