I like it, the yellow and white are very good but I don't understand why /all/ the metal is rusted except the disc blade?

Because the blade broke off in something's skull, and a new one just got slotted in?

It takes longer for rust to form on things like saw blades if they are kept in constant use... and since they are orks, I would imagine that blade sees a lot of use.

OP, nice paint job... It looks fantastic!

Thanks for the comments all!

Scooty is correct, the saw blade (and also the hydraulic pistons and ball joints) are clean because they're moving parts. The armour plates, engines etc are more battle damaged and dirty.

Then why are the claws rusty? ;D

Ahhh, touché... but notice the saw teeth on the claws are not rusty. My theory stands!

Exactly - the teeth are clean cos any rust on them has rubbed off into the wounds of their victims. Mmmmm nice rusty wounds!

Very nice. You don't see a lot of Bad Moons these days. Perhaps it's because people think yellow is a hard color to paint.

This looks fantastic. I have one of these in my collection and it is by far one of my favourite 40K models. Is this part of a larger army? I'd love to see pics of that.
