I am putting together a Horus Heresy Death Guard army and I wanted them to all have swampy looking bases. I was going to use some dark basing dirt and use some miliput to make a few roots. But what is the best way to make it look like its water covered like they are stepping into the mushy water covered ground. Is there a good paint or glaze I can use to get this effect? This is the first time I am attempting basing like this and wanted my HH army to look great.
