Hello Dakkalites,
Noremac here, once again. Today I have a custom campaign that I have been writing/editing the last few weeks. I am playing a pretty casual game with some friends coming up and they wanted to play a custom campaign, and of course I volunteered to create one (as my friends are clueless about this stuff). But, I have come to you once again to ask a few questions.
-How is the format of everything?
-How is the fluff/scenario itself?
-How are the additive rules, custom objectives, etc?
-What would you change, if anything?
-Do you think this would be fun to play?

Not a big fan of the restrictions (2+ wounds etc), but otherwise one of the better campaigns I've seen posted up
Good on you for avoiding the 'strategic map' trap

I'd advise loosening the 7+ on stats and no more than two Wounds rules, if only because you're chopping down HQ selections drastically (you've taken away all non-Spiritseer Eldar HQ, the HQ that run anything that isn't a Haemonculus Cult for the Dark Eldar, the actual military officers for the Tau, every Imperial Guard officer...). Permitting three-Wound models isn't going to cause the world to fall apart. I'm also unsure as to what the "no more than one psychic power per turn" and "no Reserves" are going to accomplish.
If you were to change the restrictions to the following you'd accomplish similar things while being a bit less restrictive:
No Special Characters
No models with more than three Wounds. Tyranids may have an exception for one and only one Carnifex.
No Flyers. Other Vehicles may not have any armour value higher than 12 and their rear armour must be 11 or 10.
No 2+ armour saves.
No Ordnance weapons
These rules are a little tighter, fewer loopholes (permitting Tyranids to have one MC but restricting Wounds such that they can't actually have one?), and fewer unjustifiable restrictions.
Backstory-wise you've got a lot of style/grammar editing left to do on the text. I'd also advise cutting down on the number of armies, the plausibility of absolutely everyone showing up and somehow managing to get over their irreconcilable differences and team up into two factions is questionable at best.
The game format and the rules are fine, but the alliances and the army restrictions don't make any sense at all; rework those, and you've got a decent campaign.

Well, I disagree, There ARE grammer errors, and some fluff that needs refined/doesn't make scene.
But I think all the restriction are good WITH the exception of no models with more then 2 wounds, make it "no models with over 3 wounds except Nids, who may have 1 MC with wounds 3+.
Hope this helps, and don't be discouraged! From this you can improve and maybe even become a legend!
Good luck and remember "The Emperor protects" (sometimes).

Thanks for all the replies. After my group looked it over we have thrown out some restrictions. As to the grammar, as this campaign is designed for my small casual gaming group we don't mind. And the number of armies for our group is unchangeable as these are the armies we have. Thanks again!

If those are the armies you have then I'd advise setting it up for more than two different teams to avoid the irrational/confusing matchups. SM/Guard teaming up makes sense, but the Eldar and the Tau don't play nice with the Imperium unless they've got a common enemy; the 'Nids don't talk to/not eat anyone at all, and the Necrons have this institutional wacky hyper-arrogant thing that gets in the way of teaming up with other people. Orks and Chaos makes a little sense with the Orks as mercenaries.
As far as teams I'd suggest the Space Marines and Guard are trying to hold their outpost in the system, the sword the Space Marines are looking for is in Tau territory and the Eldar don't want the Space Marines getting the sword back (some prophecy or other) so the Eldar and the Tau are working together, the Orks are working as mercenaries for the Chaos faction, the Tyranids are up and trying to eat everyone, and the Necrons are watching, pointing, laughing, and occasionally shooting people.

Not a bad idea anomander, But I think nids should be 1500pts, as apposedto 750 just for the fact that they wouldn't even ally with necrons because they would try to eat them too (necrons are biomechanical machines so they are yummy).
Also just for laughs, after the campaign you can do a free for all, each team has an objective they need to protect (kinda like a capture the flag) I tried this and it worked (kinda sorta) mainly just for laughs.

I was just going to comment about those restrictions because if you look at the tau codex for example it stops them from using any HQ other than the etheral, most of the HS slot (broadsides are 2+, hammer heads and sky rays have 13 on front).

I suggest changing the vehicle rule to the following:
'no vehicle may have a combined armour value of over 35 (counting the side once). The model may have bonuses that temporarily increase their armour value above this level, but may take no upgrades that would permanently go over the AV cap.'
This will likely be a lot less confusing and a lot easier.
