How could I use forge father models in 40K (with added conversions from the wfb dwarf range)?

I was thinking either space wolves or space marines with salamander chapter tactics (for the famous dwarf craftsmenship angle with all the master crafted weaponry).

Thoughts?

Space Marines would certainly work well, as the FFs have an item similar to a TFC, soon will have bikes, and have a lot of nice toys. I'd probably recommend them as regular SMs, unless you go in heavy on Brokkrs, which'll definitely have a more SW feel to them. They really do seem like a not-goofy version of Squats, but waiting for that codex...man, you'd have a better chance of giving birth through your mouth. Or becoming the grand king of China through popular demand.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I am under no illusions of squats getting a codex any time soon.

I am also thinking that sm's will sallie tactics would be the best way to go, really brings across the forge aspect of them.
