I think it would be cool to do an army based off a race in Mass Effect and am wanting ideas on how to do so.

I think I would use a Coteaz Henchman list for cerberus (or veteran heavy IG) and probably tyranids for reapers using the following:

Marauder - Tyranid Prime

Husk - Hormagaunt or Genestealer

Cannibal - Tyranid Warriors

Banshee - Zoanthrope

Brute - Carnifex

Harvester - Harpy or Hive Crone

Trygon - Reaperised Kalros (Thresher Maw from ME3)

Scion - Hive Guard

Praetorian - Probably Exocrine

That is all I can think of at the moment. Thoughts for other races fellow 40K/ME fans?

Eh, go for it.

How's this as food for thought: Shepard chose 'Destruction' and ended the Dark Age of Technology, the energy bursts from the disintegrating relays igniting warp storms across the majority of the galaxy.

Geth are Tau.

Turians are Marines
Earth is IG
Asarii are Eldar (with salanian Rangers)
Krogan are Orkz

I made a start on a few test pieces for a similar project but then got babied, so the project is on the back burner.

I did Geth, Turian, human, Asari and Krogan with a Mako transport.

and some Vindicator battle rifles

I found that the Eldar and Dark Eldar lines are pretty good for the form fitting armour suits for humans and asari

Nice conversions Flinty, the mako and geth look great!

Thanks for the input Bharring.

I too imagined the geth as a tau substitute, they don't seem tough or fighty enough to be necrons in the ME games.

How would you imagine the quarians or protheans?

I would probably say an inquistorial henchman or carapace armoured guard army for the quarians and probably eldar or a form of marines for the protheans?

That Geth in particular is amazing. I don't play Necron but if I did, that'd be an inspiring army to put forth.

Quarians?

Etherials.

Geth might use a mix of Tau and Necron bits.
