I am not sure yet what Lore to give my wizards, I am still considering on that front. My thought is that my cannon and steam tank focus on softening up any big meaty targets, My halberds are the core of my unit, and the swordsmen, though not a detachment, act in that way to try and redirect and/or counter charge in support of them. The knights chase weak targets/back lines, and the demis maybe support the steam tank in pushing deep into a flank.
I know in the group I will be playing with that there are a couple of lizardmen players, a couple of skaven, high elves, orks and goblins, and dark elves … others too, but those are sure possible opponents.
