I have 3 shades of red that I want to layer onto my Nid, lightest to darkest (Thats the best way to do it, right?), but dont know what shades of red these are. Tried looking them up but they all look the same to me.
I have, Khorne red, Wazdakka red, and Mechrite red (Seems to have been replaced with Mephison red) can some one help me order these lightest to darkest?

Probably. Though I didnt look at the dried paint side to side, just the small smear they show on the GW page.

erm.. or all the shades of red he listed are fairly close together?
which they are.
you can layer it however you want OP. mix some orange into one of the reds if you want a brighter highlight. mix black into one of the reds if you want to use it for shadows.

If they're paints that are in your possession, wouldn't just painting three strips of colour side by side be the way to go? Rather than asking the Internet or trying to use on screen samples which are by definition limited by what the display can show, and subject to the vagaries of your personal display settings?
Regardless, to try and help, Mechrite red was replaced by Mephiston, in that they are both base/foundation reds, but is a much browner, 'irony' red than Mephiston. Khorne red is, from memory, darker than Wazdakka, but tonally a lot less scarlet. The three shades are probably too different from each other in the type of reds they are to really work in a layering scheme.
You might be better off choosing one, adding a little brown to make a darker shade, and a little yellow or orange to make a lighter shade, but that way the colours will all share a common tonal base and will fit together better on the mini. But I get the impression he has the paint in his hands, which, unless he has a visual impairment, makes him an expert on them at this moment in time.

I found Mechrite and Khorne are indistinguishable from each other when dried, so I'll use those two one mixed with a little white, the other with a little black and see how it turns out.

if anything wazdakka and khorne are probably too samey. I was not impressed with the difference in color between mephiston and evil sunz Scarlett. wazdakka and khorne likely share the same problem.

Red plus white = pink
Red plus black = brown
If that's what you're going for, cool, but you're much better lightening red with orange or yellow, and darkening it with a brown (or a dark blue if you want to go purple as a shade, which can also be used to shade red)

Wouldn't the Red to white/black ratio matter alot here, If I use the same amount of red and white/black, then yeah its going to turn out pink/brown, but if I use alot of red to a little white, It should turn out an either dark pink that is almost red, or a light red that is almost pink.

It will turn pinker
Obviously how much is totally conditional to how much white you add, but regardless, the red will start to head towards pink in colour. Yellow or orange, being closer to red in the spectrum, will shift it into a lighter shade, but still preserve its "redness."

I did the first layer, and you where right. It does turn to a pink-ish color, but it turned out to be a very nice pinkish red, so i'll keep that then do a normal red, then a red mixed with brown. I would have gone orange or yellow if I had any.

Ah, ok, as long as you're happy, that's all that matters. Working with a limited palettes a bitch.
Yellow would be a good investment though, as with red it gives you oranges and blue will give you greens, as well as being yellow of course!

What can work instead of mixing white in is to paint pure white highlights then put the red over top of it. khorne red is a very transparent color when thinned out properly. wazdakka is most likely the same. I'm not sure about mechrite.
here's a video example:

It worked out alright, you can still see the pink bits a little under the brownish-red, which is a good thing. Next one I'll use Khorne red for my mixing base instead of Mechrite, probably will look better.
