What are your guys views on the best loadout for an Eldar Revenant?
Obviously the double Pulsars putting out 4 D blasts a turn is great but with the Revenants manouverability and the size of the Hellstorm template is there something to be said for them?
In addition being template and having AP2 means very little could survive them. Dont need to roll to hit either which is always a boon if you have to make sure you hit targets.
Anyone used the Revenant with either/or loadouts? Will be playing VS multiple armies/forces at 2000.

It would depend on what your opponent was fielding. If the opponent has a lot of Heavy Armor or a Lord of War, Pulsars win hands down. If the opponent has lots of Light Vehicles and Wounds models on the field, then the other weapon wins (I forget the name)

Pulsars are better in almost every way. The only time the lances would be better is a pure horde army. Even then there is almost certainly going to be a warlord, tank, lootas, etc. for the pulsars to chump.

The only time to ever take a lance over pulsar is MAYBE on a lynx with a scatter laser. Hellstorm ap2 ignores cover re rolling failed to wound insta hit?

Any tips on how to use the Revenant tactics wise?
Hes so big cover is going to be a huge issue but with the holo fields I assume moving every turn is absolutely key and keeping him at nearly max range with the pulsars, possibly screened with troops might work?

The big secret to revenant movement is to move where it will be safe and out of fire arcs and range of the enemies big guns. This is not the same as max range. If there is a unit of firedragons near you inside your void shield generators bubble then do not jump outside the shield and shoot your own shield down. Shift slightly out of range or at least Melta range and kill them with however much D it takes.
Similar with flyers where jumping to just in front means they cannot fly and keep you in fire arc.

to deploy it on the battlefield rather than in reserves, that way you win the battle at least 1 turn earlier.

This is very unfair. Ultimately it is a deathstar unit and is not in anyway an autowin button if played against a prepared opponent. The only real problem with D weapons and by extension the Revenant is that it invalidates 60%+ of most codices and games can become boring if one player did not prepare reliable strategies to kill it.
Also contributing to the conversation in a meaningful way would be nice. The comment about always deploying it is actually false. There are a very limited number of circumstances where you may not want to deploy it. It is a tactical decision that needs to be made depending on the opponent.
