Anyone know what/who this marine is supposed to be? Got him used and I'd like to fix/finish him up properly. What weapon is he supposed to be carrying in his right hand?

It was definitely used as a 40k model because he has a plasma pistol.

The plasma pistol could be glued on. I'm saying that it doesn't really jump out at me as a Space Marine. Just because it was used in 40k doesn't mean it's a 40k model.
But maybe it's an old school Blood Angel?

I don't remember what it is, but know Apologist used one as a basis for a Roboute Guilliman conversion a few years ago, so he would probably be able to tell you. It is not GW.
