Not really, no. The miniatures are game pieces, not scale models, and GW don't really put a lot of effort into making everything accurate to scale.

Its easy to tell, put a GW space Marine next to any heroic scale model. You will be shocked haha.

According to GW, the scale for Space Marine models is accurate, but the rest of the studio, which models everything else, is wrong.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
