I'm repainting and rebuilding my Slaanesh Marines army, and these are most of the models included in the first batch of spraying. Any advice appreciated...
*Chaos Lord - MoS, Lightning Claw, Bolt Pistol, Jump Pack, Aura of Dark Glory [125]
*Sorcerer - MoS, Mastery Level 3, Force Weapon, Bolt Pistol [125]
*Noise Marines (12) - 9 Sonic Blaster, 2 Blastmaster, Icon of Excess [331]
*Noise Marines (6) - 4 Sonic Blaster, 1 Blastmaster, 5 Additional CC Weapon, Veterans of the Long War, Champion with Doom Siren, Power Weapon, in a Chaos Rhino - Havoc Launcher. [242]
*Noise Marines (6) - 4 Sonic Blaster, 1 Blastmaster, 5 Additional CC Weapon, Veterans of the Long War, Champion with Doom Siren, Power Weapon, in a Chaos Rhino - Dirge Caster [235]
*Raptors (12) - MoS, Icon of Excess, Meltagun, Champion with Powerfist [303]
*Warp Talons (6) - MoS, Veterans of the Long War [226]
*Chaos Predator - Autocannon, Lascannon Sponsons, Havoc Launcher [127]
*Chaos Predator - Autocannon, Lascannon Sponsons, Havoc Launcher [127]
Total so far - 1841
The Lord, Raptors and Warp Talons run around being a threat, leaving the Noise Marines to hold or take objectives. Sorcerer, depending on powers, either sits with the big NM squad boosting their firepower, or goes in with one of the smaller squads as a CC boost. All unit sizes are multiples of six, so Slaanesh favours me and I win all the time, obviously.
Obvious problem is the lack of anti-air. I'll build a helldrake eventually, but I don't have one at the moment, so any other options??
Also, can a model with a heavy weapon still use two close combat weapons in assault to gain the extra attack? I remember at once point heavy weapons couldn't get this. If they can't, then I'll save a couple of points by losing the extra cc weapon on the Blastmaster guys...
