So my FLGS runs a tournament at the end of every month. I was thinking of going to the next one. Just wondering, what should I do to change up this list? I am very willing to ditch the dreaddy and Stormtalon, but I'd like to keep the Chapter Master and Deathwing Knights if possible. I am kinda on a budget, so I can't go buying new models, but here are the extra models I can use in the list (that aren't included):
1 more dreaddy
1 more stormtalon
A Nephilim Jetfighter
10 termies
Terminator libby
1 deathwing champ with halberd
5 tac marines w/ plasma cannon
Azrael
10 sniper scouts
10 assault marines
1 jump-pack chaplain
PRIMARY DETACHMENT - SM
Chapter Master, Burning blade, storm shield,
artificier armour, digital weapons = 230 pts.
5 Tac Marines, plasma gun, rhino = 120 pts
5 tac marines, meltagun, rhino = 115 pts
5 tac marines, plasma gun = 85 pts
5 tac marines, meltagun = 80 pts
Dread, plasma cannon = 110 pts
Stormtalon, typhoon = 140 pts
Predator, tl lascannon, hb side sponsons = 120 pts
ALLIES - DA
Librarian, melta bombs= 70 pts
5 tac marines, missile launcher with flakk = 95 pts
Deathwing knights = 235 pts
FORTIFICATIONS
Aegis defence line + quad gun = 100 pts

What Chapter Tactics were you planning on using for the Primary Detatch? Which unit is the Chapter Master going with? (The Knights??)
I'm guessing the plan is to have the Libby sit back with the Flakk squad and man the quad-gun, and tromping up the board with the rest?
I'm honestly not convinced by the 5-man squads without rhinos, especially the meltagun one, so I'm gunna suggest:
a) Blob up the 4 squads into 2 squads of 10 with rhinos. This looses you two special weapons but you could compensate with combi-weapons on the sergeants.
b) At least swap the specials so the two melta's are in the rhinos. Plasmas will at least match the range of the rest of the squad and the meltas are more important to get close.
Las/ HB bolters are my least favorite Predator load-out, but after a sneaky look at your gallery I cannot possibly suggest changing it...(  )

Haha, I am rather proud of the Pred and it's whole flames/Holy Diver thing. Thanks for the solid list advice. UM chapter tactics, and yeah, the Master is rolling with the Knights. You're also right about the Libby. Still not sure if I should dump the Dreadnought in favour of another Stormtalon or if I should forget about the Stormtalons altogether and replace it with some more tac marines or something.

Unfortunately the only delivery system that makes sense for knights is a Land Raider - something I don't have. So far footslogging them up the board has never been a problem though. They tend to rampage a bit when paired with the Chapter Master. Anyways, here's the (slightly) revised list:

I would put the Chapter Master on a bike.
He becomes T5 and immune to ID from failing a save from S8/9 weapons, also he's relentless meaning he can move 6 (if in a squad of footsloggers) - 12" and use his OB. Sure it's a one shot weapon, but it's worth doing on the first turn since you don't seem to have any units that can be on their end of the board in that time.
The SS might not be worth it, honestly, It gives a 3++ instead of your 4++ and you can't claim an extra attack for having The Burning Blade and a BP. (That extra attack can make a lot of difference 5A, 6 on the charge)

I agree with the bike sentiment. Chapter Masters should probably be on a bike or in terminator armor for the reasons Ond Angel already mentioned.
Also agreed with the storm shield sentiment. You've got a 4++ already from the iron halo. A lot of people feel if you're going to lose the extra attack, it's better to go Thunder Hammer instead of the Burning Brand, and to utilize the shield that gives eternal warrior so he can be ubertank and hunt monstrous creatures.

I don't have a model for a bike leader, like I said, and I really can't afford anything more - that's why I included a list of the stuff I DO have. But thanks anyway guys, some solid advice. So far the Chapter Master has really proved his worth, seeing as he strikes at initiative with the BB. I don't mind the idea of the Eternal Warrior Terminator deal though, I could possibly change that. Anyway, what I really need help with is if I have enough anti air.
As it is the single Talon can be very vunerable on the turn it arrives. So I'm wondering if I should drop the dreaddy and get another Talon or drop the Talons altogether and focus on more ground troops?
Any help much appreciated!

Ah, my mistake.
I coulda sworn I saw a bike.
I was reading a few threads at the time.
As for anti air; in *most* cases just ignore it.
It depends on the size of the boards you commonly play on.
I mean, I can ignore them since we use 4X4 boards at the LGS.
"What's that? flyers?" *moves towards them* "Now you have to move 18 - 36 inches which will put you behind me unless you can hover."
They then have to spend a few turns turning it around. (None of them are smart enough to just fly off the board and come back on, but it still buys time even if they did)

Haha. Yeah, I think dropping the Stormtalon is probably the best option then. I play mostly on 6x4 tables, but even with the bigger size they never do too much damage at 1500 points. Thanks!
