"There is a cancer eating at the Imperium. With each decade it advances deeper, leaving drained, dead worlds in its wake. This horror, this abomination, has thought and purpose that functions on an unimaginable, galactic scale and all we can do is try to stop the swarms of bioengineered monsters it unleashes upon us by instinct. We have given the horror a name to salve our fears; we call it the Tyranid race, but if is aware of us at all it must know us only as Prey."

This does not work with the Fluff, as neither Space Marines nor Ogryns work like that.

Oh, I know about the loss of that third wound. I figured that for what I am changing around, the loss of a wound was acceptable.

Would the following bit of fluff hep make it slightly more believable?
In the years following their self imposed exile away from the rest of the Imperium, the Iron Reavers made an exploratory assault into the Eye of Terror on Perturabo's world of Madrengard. With what information they recieved, they realized their small chapter alone would never be able to clear the planet of their fallen brothers, and so left to find a solution. Within their travels, they discovered an abhuman world populated by Ogryn. Knowing a solution and the survival of his chapter was at stake, the chapter master made the small world their base from which to regroup. For over two millenia, they experimented with the inhabitants of the planet, culling attributes they found unattractive to their cause. Finally, a breakthrough was made, and the Ogryn reached beyond the understanding of a few simple tasks. Those Ogryn chosen for fighting were then taken by the Techmarines to be remade. Brainwashed, their minds devoid of anything beyond the basic tenets of fighting and maintenance and imbued with holy passion for the emperor, they made excellent soldiers, but more was needed. Those that survived the process were further modified, their basic thought patterns overwritten with the complex system of a servitor, though some primal urges were too base to supress completely. Their vocal cords were removed and instead they were implanted with simple Technis Burst-Voxes, devices that rendered them mute but allowed them to understand and express with the precise and rapid informative techniques of the techpriests of Mars. The marines of the chapter, following an edict passed down from the Master of the Forge, were given a Langua Technis implant to best control these new weapons.
So, think Ogryn servitors.

Its a pretty cool concept. Nice toughness 5 though. So the space marine does not get any special upgrades? What kind of dedicated transport do they have access to? The fluff you made up is cool and I can see that since capters do sometimes devaite from the norm of the codex astartes.

Yeah...it's kinda like that. |

Couldn't think of any decent ones really. As a regular marine, he doesn't really warrant much in the way of great gear. Heck, I thought that the combi-weapon was a bit of a stretch. Why, what would you recommend for additional gear and upgrade options? Also, on the transport front, I really couldn't think of one that fit for them.

why would he get a combi-bolter as a free upgrade over a regular bolter?
Also, shouldnt it be a vet sergeant leading ogryns?
Take out the electro thing and just make him a vet serg. So 2 attacks and ldr 9 base.
Let him buy the same upgrades a regular serg can.
also bump the ogyrns back up to 3 wounds otherwise they arent ogryns anymore.
200 pts base is still fine for that squad. Againgst the myriad of AP4 or better weaponry it'll still fold pretty hard.
Add the ability to purchase a rhino as a dedicated transport and its a decent squad.

This seems more like an Inquisition thing-- they seem more than willing to make use of bizarre races. Space Marines, less so. I could see it if the Ogryns had some kind of unique function on the battlefield that marines can't handle, but punishment-absorbing walking gun platform is isn't terribly unique.
Now if the Ogryns could smash apart fortifications or remove wrecked vehicles, that'd be pretty amusing.
