Me and a friend decided to toss as many models as we own on the table and see who wins, he has roughly 3700pts of Eldar/Iyaden and i have an easy 4000pts between my Grey Knights and Black Templars. The army lists will allow for double force org. I have never played a game over 2000pts and i am completely overwhelmed trying to make a list that will hold up against him. I could really use some ideas if anyone has some suggestions that would be great. I have the following:
Grey Knights:
HQs:
Grandmaster
Grandmaster Mordrak (4 Ghost Knights)
Librarian in Terminator Armor
Ordo Malleus Inquisitor in Terminator Armor
Inquisitor Coteaz
Brother-Captain
Brotherhood Champion

Elites:
10 Paladins

Troops:
10 Terminators
20 Strike Squad (magentized to also be Interceptors)

Dedicated Transports:
2 Rhino/Razorback

Fast Attack:
Stormraven Gunship
10 Interceptors (5 with halberds)

Heavy Support:
2 Dreadnoughts
Dreadknight
Landraider Crusader

Black Templars

HQs:
Emperor's Champion
Captain in Terminator Armor

Elites:
5 Sternguard Veterans
2 Dreadnoughts (1 venerable)
5 Terminators
5 Assualt Terminators

Troops:
30 Tactical Space Marines
15 Crusader Initiates
10 Neophytes (or scouts)

Dedicated Transport:
2 Rhino/Razorback
Drop pod

Fast Attack:
5 Assault Space Marines
Landspeeder

Heavy Support:
5 Devastator Space Marines
Landraider Crusader

I do have the a few extra space marines and i can buy a kit or two if needs be but thats about all i gots. Please help me interwebs and Dakka-Dakka, you are my only hope....

Without anymore Info about what your friend is bringing I can only shrug my shoulders and make sure sure those Dreads have Auto-cannon Pysbolts of death to bring the squishes out of their pretty little hovering boxes Also, I'm not a GK player OR a BT player, but do you really need that many HQ's for your Grey Knights? You might consider striping out some points to beef up your troops sections (Or get some other shiny shiny toys that I don't know about.) Again, no expert but the HQ's just seem excessive, plus the fact that even though you have two Inquisitors in the list , you have no Inquisitorial units! Just a thought but other than that it seems like a bit lacking in heavy support.

"The path of the righteous is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyrannical. Blessed are those, in the name of The Emperor and Holy Tera, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly Man's keeper and the finder of lost souls. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Emperor's Hand when I lay His vengeance upon you."

I plan on putting Draigo in the landraider with a squad of his paladins and putting the librarian with the squad of terminators. Use the drop pod to drop a dreadnought to cause some close combat havoc to whatever he doesn't have in a grav tank (which will either be rangers or guardians). Keep the two psyfilemen back enough to make him come to me and try to pop some tanks before the Stormraven comes in. Use the two devastator squads to set up midfield for some extra support in popping his tanks. I know hes going to be bringing every tank he has (5+). He is allowing me to use Black Templars as battle brothers for this fight too so i need to figure out the best way to utilize this, i am not familiar with running allies though. This is what i have at the moment.
