I think I can manage the bikes from spare parts, but what about anything else?

I converted all the DV terminators. Judicious addition of skulls and spikes, and the application of white/pva/elmers glue with a drop of zap-a-gap/cyanoacrylate on top covered up any insignias and added a really cool corrosion effect. I also drilled out the head of one termie, and replaced it with an eyestalk (from Reaper, I think) and covered that guy in PVA+cyanoacrylate corrosion. Looked pretty nifty for a rather quick conversion job!

These guys are bigger, so were a bit easier to work with, but if you're crafty, I reckon it wouldn't be too hard to make the tactical marines chaos too.

The characters might be a bit harder yet, as I'd imagine you'd have to do a lot more to make them look appropriately chaotic.

Love to hear what you come up with!

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

I haven't even begun yet, and am still torn if I want to do this or not, but I'll have a think about it!

I'll be taking some pics soon, but I bought 15+ DV bikes and converted almost half of them into Nurgle bikers. I simply used lots of chains/spikes/trophy racks and whatnot from various csm sprues as well as green stuff to add "barnicle grunge" (as my friend put it). I also used some torsos/arms/heads from the WHFB zombies kit to add weapon-weilding limbs and stuff to some.

I turned 3 of the terminators into Oblits using misc weapon bits and greenstuff.

Successful trades with zeke48, Uriels_Flame, brush_slip and Sekai.

I finished up converting one of the beakies today.

I filed down the icons (Leaving the skulls and daggers of course) added some spikes, and boom! Newbie chaos marine! I named him Matt.

I've assembled a few of these kits between friends and cousins, and I can say that if you have a decent bitz box the whole DA side can be converted. My friend did it just recently!
