So, I'm building a Dark Angels successor chapter, and am trying to flush out the rule set I'll be using. In particular, with the new Codex: Space Marines and the method of making successors, can this be used in conjunction with DA too? As in, can I field a Dark Angels successor that uses Codex Space Marines with Dark Angels Chapter Tactics?

There is no Dark Angles Chapter Tactic in Codex: Space Marines.
I don't think they even have one in their own codex.

Dark Angel Successor chapters, aka "The Unforgiven", organize like Dark Angels. that is explained in the dark angels codex; you will want to run them using the dark angels codex if you plant to match rules to fluff. if you have your heart set on DA fluff but want to use the marine codex thats fine, just pic a chapter tactic and go, and if where you play if FW friendly there are another dozen chapter tactics you can use.

I know there isn't one in Codex Space Marines, and there isn't one defined in the Dark Angels' codex, but they have the Grim Resolve and Deathwing Assault and whatnot. Codex SM has the considerations for the Black Templars, so I was hoping the same kind of concessions would be made for DA.

Alright, that's what I wanted to know, thanks.

Black Templars are in Codex Space Marines because they no longer have their own codex. That's not the case for the Dark Angels.

You can not combine rules from two different army's rulebooks.

Either you use the dark angels codex, or you use the space marines codex..

If you sue the space marines codex, pick whichever chapter tactics you wish and just call it a DA successor chapter

This

Personally I'd say that you need to strongly consider how staunch your army adheres to their lineage. If consider to them to be very strongly in step with the Dark Angels in terms of attitude, behavior, and also tactics then just use the Dark Angels rules. If you think of them as being slightly more lenient then use one of the Chapter Tactics sets from Codex Space Marines.

Just don't use Space Wolf rules.

Why?

Maybe their chapter of Dark Angels successors hunts raptors and rides them into battle (Counts as thunderwolf cav) so maybe they are like Space wolves after all.

In the fluff Dark Angels and Space Wolves have a long history of not getting along. Certainly, you're more than welcome to use whatever army list best suits the models you're fielding, but if you're the superstitious type you might look elsewhere.

Unless it is a DA successor that has a rivalry with the Space Wolves because they are so similar...

If you make your own successor chapter, pick your own colors. you could also then choose to play whatever chapter you wanna.

Talk it over with buddies in your gaming group and come up with your own DA Chapter Tactics utilizing what's in Codex Space Marines and Codex Dark Angels as a guide. I'd still say pick all your units from just C:SM but part of the fun of the game is coming up with your own fluff and game rules (in my exceptionally unhumble opinion).

Just don't go expecting people outside your list of friends to let you use those rules.
