Hi all,

I have just got back into 40k after a long break (have not played since the 2nd edition) and have decided to start a Taut army.

The Twilight Zone

A no brainer upgrade for your list is the neuroweb jammer for your commander. It rounds out 2 points that would be hard to spend, and for 2 points it is a very powerful upgrade. I would also consider vectored thrusters on the commander, and perhaps a target lock. This allows him to split from the crisis team, and provides hit and run should things go bad. Stim injectors and the iridium armor are also good buys.

The crisis team does not need to twin link their plasma rifles, just take a plasma and fusion. Points saved here can buy you commander iridium armor and/or stim injectors.

The rest of your list is fine.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
