If I have a bunch of models that have white robes, and prime them white, is there a way to super thin down a grey paint to give them a wash. Is there a wash specifically for this purpose? Its alright if there not bone white anymore, if they come out a bit off white but save a ton of time painting grey than highlighting to white, while being tabletop quality that would sure save me some effort.

Honestly, I would just base that in Administratum grey and then do a few drybrush layers of white until your satisfied with it. I can't really think of anything that would do a good wash and get good contrast.

Vallejo makes a grey wash that is quite nice. You could also make your own; just thin out the color you want with water and maybe add a little glaze medium and you're good to go.

I will see if I can find the vajello grey wash. Do you happen to remember the name?

You can also use Gryphonne Sepia for a dirtier, earthy white.
Blues could also work for cooler kinds of white.
