To cut a long story short, i used to run a pure spirit list for my eldar.
I was digging through some box's and found what i think was everything i had (30 metal wraith guard, 3 wraith lords, 9 warlocks, farseer, eldrad)
Now, ive decided to re-visit the army and get them going again since i love the looks of eldar wraith constructs, but im at a bit of a lose end.

In the previous book, 10 wraith guard and a seer would count as a troop choice.
However, im not sure if this is the case any more.

What i am after please if a very quick rundown of making wraith guard troops, and if it is still possible.
Ive seen the iyanden suppliment, but would that be essential to running this list?
Simply because im about to order the codex and a few other bits, and i may have to add this to the list.

Also, on a rather random side note, is there any way to make the eldar wraithseer in this list? or is he still a FW item only please?
I simply want a way to cram in as many wraith constructs as possible.

I figure ive missed alot with this recent change, but i want to re-vamp my army and get it running again, so any and all help is greatly appreciated please.
Thanks again

If you take a spiritseer as one of your HQ choices, ALL wraithguard/wraithblades in your army become troops. I would recomend borrowing or picking up a copy of the Eldar codex, and because you are interested in constructs, grab the Iyanden supplement as well.

I just wanted to make sure they were still viable as troops, so thank you for that

Ill be ordering the book in a moment, but i just didnt want to until i knew it was possible to take them as troops, as most other eldar units really dont appeal to me.

Before i order, is the iyanden suppliment really that good and worthwhile (for a construct army) or is it something i can skip for now?

Once i know, ill place an order and get a good start

Thanks again for the help.

The iyanden supplement is perfect for construct lists.

Only down side to this type of list is that t6 isn't that scary anymore
