Is CC viable with chaos marines?
Nurgle Lord: Daemon Heart, Soul Stealer, bike, sigil 185
Sorcerer: lvl3: Possessed, Divination 165

Lord goes with Spawn for T6 deathstar. Sorcerer throws out divination buffs. Potentially everything can move 12"+ in movement phase ignoring terrain. The idea is MTO, not sure if I should run the possessed as more smaller units. More reliability in getting beast movement on something but easier KPs and lower threat level. Also everything is at least S5 in combat  .

I like it, I'd love to face it in a game (genuinly), and I love the way it looks.
BUT, you will have a b***h of a time against Taudar, who, in our days do seem to be seen very frequently in competitve games...

So now I have the dex here's all the correct names:
Nurgle Lord: Daemon Heart, Relentless Blade, bike, sigil, combimelta 195
Sorcerer: lvl2: Prophet of the Voices, Balestar of Mannon, combimelta, melta bombs 155
14 Possessed 364

5 Nurgle Spawn 180
Helldrake 170

Maulerfiend 125
Maulerfiend 125
I've shifted a few things to enable me to deal with an Imperial Knight though that really is a rock to my scissors. How best to solve that?

I would say CSM are one of the few armies that can excel at CC since they have DC vehicle upgrade.

First, I like your list. If you get into cc with all that good luck to your opponent. But I think you're going to have trouble claiming objectives with one two scoring units at 1850. You could drop the size of the squads to free up some points for cultist units and possibly an ADL with Quad. If not quad, I'd consider hades on your drake.
