Okay so there's a tournament in may where you run two games at 1250pts then two more at 1750pts where your 1750pt list has to include your 1250pt list with no alterations to the units in it. I figured this could be a good chance to experiment with a flying circus style list and wanted some feedback/thoughts.

1250pt List
Daemons
Fateweaver 300pt
2*Daemonettes(10) 180pts
Daemon Prince (DoTz, Wings, Armour, ML3, greater & exalted reward) 355pts
CSM Allies
Be'lakor 350pts
Cultists(10) 50pts

Total 1235pts

Add on option 1
Daemon Prince (DoS, Wings, Armour, ML3, greater & exalted reward) 340pts
Helldrake(Baleflamer) 170pts

Add on option 2
Lord of Change (ML3, 2 greater rewards) 295pts
Cultists(10) 50pts
Helldrake(Baleflamer) 170pts

So quick break-down/discussion between the 2 options, the Slaanesh Daemon Prince has both Lash of Despair (12" 2d6 Str:User Ap:-) and the portaglyph (a 1HP av12 vehicle that produces d6 troops on a 4+ each turn). Generally he'll take triple biomancy looking for iron arm (which makes lash Str7-9) which gives me some ranged anti-tank while the portaglyph shores up my lacking of troops.

Alternatively a Lord of Change has a superior statline (T6 W5), however only has access to divination/tzeentch powers, and is only more surviviable if he rolls well for the greater rewards/divination powers, and has access to shooting to flickering fire (2d6 Str5 Ap4 shots for one warp charge, 3d6 shots for warp charges etc) with the saving in points I can take a 2nd cultist squad.

Personally I like the anti-tank from lash and the synergy from having potentially 6 rolls on biomancy (from both daemon princes) which allows me to crack tanks without having to land and assault, however divination is an amazing discipline and the LoC is less susceptable to instant death. Not really sure which one to go for.

ps. Be'lakor is basically a winged DP with ML3, fearless, EW, knows the entire telepathy discipline and gains d3 warp charges if you opponent fails a morale check in his turn and his fancy sword has +1 Str, fleshbane, armourbane, master-crafted. So he also works well with endurance from the DPs to keep him healthy.

You need both grimoire and portalglyph. So that's 2 exalted rewards. It is important for you to get a standard access to troops as daemonettes are squishy even though they rock in cc. Getting some horrors from portal is nice. las/slaanesh prince is good mostly for anti/air/tank. Do you think you need CSM as allies so much? I mean you can do without Be'lakor right?

Killing is easy. Being politically correct is a pain in the ass...

Yep and I have both the grimnoire and portaglyph @ 1750pts, at 1250pts I can choose which I'd prefer, there's also restricted FOC in the smaller games (1HQ, 0-2 Elites/FA/HS, 2-4 Troops).

Daemonettes over horrors is a personally preference, mainly because they're faster, so if they deep-strike in they can run out of LOS quite easily, I know I only have 3/4 squishy troops but I don't imagine many people will get chance to shoot at them (will be reserved/hidden out of LOS).

I know lash prince is good anti-tank (I believe I said so in the original post), I was wondering about running a LoC instead and if it would be able to fufil the role. I'm thinking if I can get the LoC into rear armour then most things are only av10 so FF should be fine, however the positioning is tricky with only a 24" move, where as Lash prince can attack most tanks (particularly if he gets iron arm from any angle) but is 'easier' to kill.

Helldrakes are awesome (hence the CSM allies), I've been trying Be'lakor over Black Mace prince, because he's slightly cheaper and has EW so less susceptible to ID. Also it means I can grimnoire fatey, invisisbility Grimnoire Prince and hide be'lakor which means I have two 2 units on a 2+ re-rollable (one inv, one cover), I think Be'lakor is fragile, but having access to the entire telepathy domain is very useful.
