I thought I start up a thread for sharing some games that are out of print and/or very few people may or may have heard of and you think should be reinvented, revitalized, redone as such. While mostly going for Board Games, Roleplaying games and Card games due to this idea, miniature games are also very much welcomed as well!
For me, I wish they bring back Decipher's .Hack//enemy collectible card game. While rather simplistic, it was rather fun and had a sweet mechanic for doing its combat at the time.
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/480741/despite-all-appearances-a-very-worthwhile-game
Well, at least in my opinion. Also a big fan of the original .Hack series (that being Sign and the first four games). Hopefully maybe Fantasy Flight can get permission from Cyber Connect 2 and Bandai to make a LCG version of the game , as they seem to have a good reputation with that.

Game had a unique system called "flow" there was positive and negative flow which determined who's turn it is. Keep playing positive flows it can be your turn for a long time unless your opponent can counter. It's theme was rather unique. It was a Mad max-ish, Cyberpunk, Mystical gladiators setting.
There is a face book page stating they will bring it back but that was 2 years ago.
Star wars by Decipher
made from the same company as star wars ccg with the same system
Wars ccg
Aligence War of factions
game died way too quickly. Had interesting mechanics and combat system dealing with military, politics, economy and religious, attributes.
thanks to bgg for the images.

Not going to lie, most of the games I play (or at least try to get people interested in playing) were designed by rocket scientists for rocket scientists, so not really what most people enjoy playing.
That said, I really wish someone would be able to get rights for Phoenix Command, just so there would be a legal and not obscenely expensive way of acquiring all the dang rulebooks for it.
I'm not really going to list a book or rules picture because I think this one sums the game up much better:

I heard that the Star Wars one was a rather good card game as well.
Also @dementedwombat, that just really looks horrifying.

Well, Phoenix Command was based off the system used by the US Military to determine kill probabilities and casualty percentages in their war games. It amazes me every time I read through one of the few books I actually own. The shear amount of "realism for the sake of realism" makes the mind implode under a rain of random tables (cross reference whether the shot is coming from the front, oblique angle, or the side then roll a d1000 to see what body part you hit. 0-60 hits various parts of the head). It's over the top even for me to be fair. But some day I want to run it just to say I did. Also if I could write up a computer program to roll out all the tables for me...

HackMaster has a d10,000 table for critical hits to see where you hit them and what effects they have. It's funny as feth, though! My gnome illusionist/cleric lost his leg at the shin right after I was smack talking my GM.
Taking it in stride, i filed the leg of my miniature I was using and put a peg leg on him!
I miss that game. And that gnome.

HeroScape. With a fully modular board, cheap pre painted minis, and well written, easy to learn rules... Easily my favorite game. There is even still a community dedicated it, called Heroscapers. Great game, with great fans.

Tattoinne Cantina slug fests, Battle for Hoth, and (my favorite) Death Star Attack Runs versus Death Star blowing gak up! Comment from TO passing my table: "Is that Yoda and Obi-Wan in a y-Wing making an attack run?" <--- "Your ass you bet it is, hmmm! Yee-hee-hee!" Yes, I took the time (and cards) to get Yoda off Degohbah, made him a pilot, made Obi-Wan a pilot, and tossed them in a y-wing.

The RPG Cyber punk and Mekton. they both used the same rules system, so were interchangeable. Cyberpunk was a dark, gritty, realistic game, while Mekton was an over the top Gundam-esque mecha game. Both awesome.

There was a Mekton Zero Kickstarter last year. Mike was running a campaign for his son's friends and decided to put the refinements/simplifications into a new edition.
Art shown so far is so-so.
