A few general things I'm not sure are mentioned in the article:

SW are one of the few armies left with no in-codex anti-air capability, so you'll want to throw in an
ADL with a Quad-gun or look at allying in
IG or
SM for some fliers of your own. I'd suggest
IG if you want to go that way, they add a lot to Wolves and vice-versa.
- Big Monstrous creatures are a huge part of the meta now. Getting in
JOTWW can spell doom for ones such as Tervigons and Riptides, so Rune Priests are a must.
