Frankie and Raw Dogger bust out the new Crimson Slaughter vs. Grey Knights with an Imperial Knight to see what the new Chaos can do!

Interesting battle, but Frankie's list didn't really gain anything from being Crimson Slaughter. He could have done the same thing with Black Legion or even just regular chaos and only 2 HQ's.

The only thing he really did use from Crimson Slaughter was Scrier's Gaze from the Divination table. Other than that it looks like it could have been just a normal CSM list. Do you lose a HP when failing a D test? BTW I am really digging that terrain you guys played on.

He gained a ton, actually. His Sorcer got Scriers Gaze which is amazing, and prescience, plus he could have gotten a 4++ on the Spawn unit which is nuts. He also got a 2+ armor save for the Lord.

I honestly think Crimson Slaughter will be the new standard for Chaos.

Oh okay Frankie didn't mention much about what his Sorcerer got. Yes, Divination for CSM opens a TON of new things. It is a pretty exciting thing for CSM players.

Obviously the Sorcerer and 2+ Lord are awesome, but in this battle they ran into Paladins and died, while the rest of his army stood back and shot at stuff. Seriously, that Sorcerer didn't seem to be adding anything in this battle, while the 2+ on the Lord didn't seem to make a difference. Oblits and Heldrakes are always good. I guess I was just looking forward to seeing some more shenanigans, like using Huron to infiltrate a bunch of possessed or something.

I was hoping to see actual Chaos Space Marines in this one....but I'm thinking that would be more of a Reece-thing than a Frankie-thing.

Yeah, Iwas a little sad that 1) no awesome possessed troops (OK, not that sad...) and 2) I'd like to see them go against somebody who can know Fear, because that's one of Crimson's "things". Causing Fear.....

The crimson slaughter book is fantastic for CSM with the new power builds, nurgle biker lords will spawn can mow down units with their new abilities, as well as prescience for forge fiends.

It has come to my attention that there may be some controversy with regards to Crimson Slaughter allies?

I have just ordered my copy of the crimson slaughter book.

Looking forward to the horrors I can unleash with them as allies....

I accidentally ordered the crimson slaughter book and downloaded the ebook. So if anyone is wanting to buy the book its still in the shrink wrap otherwise i can just ship it back to games workshop and chalk this one up as me being an idiot.

Just because you have something doesn't mean you have to use it, you know? Possessed are still way overpriced for single wound models.

This is so so so wrong...

I tried them out last night, they are good.

A divination Sorcerer with Oblits is absolutely awesome.

Cultists causing Fear is lol!

They are much improved.

And yes, I actually use CSMs, Frankie refuses to as they are so terrible.
