My first attempt with sponge weathering and oil use is complete, and I present my regiments Baneblade, The Indomitable.

The hair on the stubber ammo box and fuzz on the side turret makes a me sooo mad.

Otherwise well done.

I think it could use more wear and tear near the access panels like on the top. also nice hoody

Nice job with the painted cockpits, I'm definitely coming around to that aesthetic over the clear plastic.

Great paintjob! The rivets and weathering look perfect, and I love the painted glass. That hood ornament is also pretty epic (sorry, couldn't help it haha).

Desubot - perfect example of the picture bringing out things the eye cant see, I would never have known it was there
NightWillEnd - The painted cockpits are actually to disguise the plasticard they were made with, also to tie them in to the rest of the army.
Trondheim/Guineapig - Ta very much.

Lovely painting, fab weathering but just not sure if the glass cockpits go with the ancient, Vostroyan style.

Good idea with the guy on the heavy stubber. Is that one of the lascannon gunners?

Daston - It is indeed, well spotted
BoB - I know what you mean, but it was more to tie in with all of the cockpits on my aerial units

But now for some smaller tanks:

So nice to see some more Vostoryans out there!

Love the Baneblade! Great work on it and the hood ornament made me laugh out loud! (Seriously, I scared the heck out of my cat just now. heh)

I'm contemplating painting up my own Shadowsword in the near future, or just selling it. I've had it for years and it's been waiting to be painted, (fully assembled, mind you) for a long long time on the shelf. This gives me a little inspiration to go ahead and maybe tackle it finally. I've got a good 20 Vostroyans left to paint though, so I don't know if I need to focus on them first or tackle another tank first (I have a Leman Russ Vanquisher is currently waiting in the wings, too.)

Curse my indecision!

All that said, thanks for sharing it and I hope to see more of your force soon Japehlio.

Take it easy for now man.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Nice tanks! Again, perfect weathering and perfect colours, love the different lenses on the binocs, very cool.
Not sure about the bright yellow nozzles on the multi-meltas though... All perfect aside from that!

Like the hood ornament, never seen any tanks with one on the front.

Cool addition, I may have to remember should I ever get a baneblade size tank.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
