The RPG?

If you are talking about the game "Rogue Trader" from Fantasy Flight Games, it's a dice-and-paper RPG, like Dungeons & Dragons. GW does not publish it or sell anything directly related to it (as is the case with all of the 40K RPGs) and so you will find nothing related to it on the GW site.

Anyway, to play it, you need at least the main Rogue Trader book, some paper, a stack of d10s, and at least 1 other person. 4 to 6 extra people is much better, though.

It's fairly easy to establish ground rules first, though. Basically, hold up the main book and say "we're going with the Roles presented here".

That way, disputes can go like this:

"But I wanna play an Eldar Farseer!"
"No."
"I wanna play an Ork Freebooter!"
"No."
"I wanna play an Untouchable Dark Eldar Corsair!"
"No."
"I wanna-"
"No."
"I-"
"No."
"..."
"Thou Shalt Not."
