Subject: 1987 RT Imperial Guard command in blister, worth anything?

I got this in a box of stuff from a trade, it contains 4 minis and plastic arms and bases. The blister is a bit battered but still sealed.
Is it worth anything? I'm tempted to open it cos the minis look cool though I don't really have a use for them other than the fun of painting them. who doesn't like old school imperial guard right? Of course if they have any value I could always use the money.
I've checked on eBay but no one seems to have sold anything similar other than some odd minis from the pack.
Thanks for any help

These guys? No idea on a price, but they don’t match the modern aesthetic at all unfortunately. Would be useful for someone doing a retro regiment.
Thems the fellas! The top 4 in the first picture. The goatee on the captain is amazing
I've noticed the price of old stuff seems directly in line with how well it fits with the new stuff. I've found the RT and 2nd ed orks are much cheaper than other armies of the period, I can only assume because they don't scale well.

Definately have a value, and that is increased by being in the blister - there is a small sector of collectors who pay a premium for stuff being in blisters.
I would make a very rough guess that you'd get about £10 for a blister on Ebay, could sell a bit cheaper, could go a lot more depending on whether you get 2 keen collectors chasing it. Or go and check out the trade sections of Lead Adventure Forum or the Oldhammer groups - both those sites get a lot of classic collector traffic.
Umm I mean, no, worth nothing, in fact it could contain a deadly virus, you'd be better getting them disposed of - PM me for an address to send it to.
Oh no! I don't want to catch lead rot!
Lead Adventure Forum, I'll check it out. I'd like to see these minis go to someone who'll have some real use for them, even if it is just to help complete a collection

I've just been looking at the blister again, seems there's 5 minis. I can only see the tab of the 5th but it says he's a medic.

Sounds right. I picked up that blister back when it was new, and it came with one. I modded him into a com trooper. Guys are still on the shelf.
Cool any pics? It'd be good to see some painted up.

Awesome thanks man! It's good to see some painted up, my willpower is diminishing...
I found all 5 minis on CCM:

Looks like the Commander, Sergeant, Captain, Standard Bearer and Medic.

Haha I think the same thing about most of the modern stuff multi pose plastic IG? No thanks!
Pretty much the only recent stuff I've liked was the Chaos in Dark Vengeance, not that I've bought any. Different strokes for different folks and all that.
If you find any more "terrible sculpts" taking up space let me know and I'll see if I can provide a good home
