Hey so I'veas een trying to make really competitive lists that don't seem to be used much So here it is:
C:sm
Belakor(warlord)
Daemon prince
Tz wings black mace
10 cultists
10 cultists
Heldrake
Heldrake
Heldrake
Necron overlord
Harbinger Of despair(ap 1 flamer)
5 Death marks
Nightscythe
5 Warriors
Nightscythe
5 warriors
Nightscythe
So that's 6 fliers 2 flying monstrous creatures. The Nightscythes bring strong scoring and the cultists can get rear objectives. Only problem I see is that only having the daemon princes on the field early turns leave me a little vulnerable... But if I hide them for the first turn or 2 it allows me to stall out a bit as well as get a powerful turn 2-3 offensive. Another thing is that imo competitive armies with the exception of taudar don't bring nearly enough skyfire. The death marks with Harbinger can really help deal with cent/biker stars.
Let me know what you think
Thanks

May I suggest a Cryptek with a Solar Pulse, for the simple fact that your fliers can come in and have a 3+ cover save and won't get shot up by things with intercept etc.. also why bother taking Warrior when immortals are far and away a superior choice for like 4 points more. You don't actually have to attach him to a squad he can just be on his lonesome hiding somewhere. Also I think maybe it's better to have your Primary be Necrons.. I'm not sure on that though it'd at least I think get rid of a few useless models.

Well the thing is with immortals is that 40points is a ton... The list is pretty point starved as is. One thing I wasn't sure about was adding a bastion for a Com relay. It let's me put some cultists in it(backup unit to not auto lose turn 1) makes sure I have some los blocking terrain for the daemon princes and let's my all out attack Be more consistent turn 2. But what should I get rid of?

In one sentence can you write this armies general strategy and purpose for example:
This army is a White Scar Space Marine bike squad which uses a to make Bikes troops which is highly mobile and can use hit and run to devastate my opponent then quickly grab objectives.
Now what in that army doesn't match that purpose?
I would say the thing that stands out the most is the Despair Cryptek. Who's he buddying up with ? The 5 man Warriors? Sure he'll get some fire off and Belakor is great with him but thats it. That's a one time combo. Any unit he goes with and he can't join the cultist are gonna get wiped out. Is it a alpha strike purpose? He's gotta join or go by himself. If he's a Deathmark Alpha Strike to deal with Stars etc.. go for it, but why have one?
If your goal's to run around alpha striking , and the Necrons are allies..

The criptek joins death marks they pick a target and he wound that unit on 2s with his ap1 flamer... Which hurts the sm death stars imo... without it I feels I am at their mercy a little. I don't need the deathmarks but what then should I replace them with?

I agree it's an amazing combo, I just don't see why you are taking one though. I wouldn't I'd keep them in the army. You're already really light on objectives though. Does your ally matrix allow the same army the other way around ? I am not familiar with Belakor etc..

Oh that's right yeah so CSM is always got to be primary. Yeah I mean it's a tooled as heck army.
What about considering dumping the Deathmarks with a Scythe and going for a mini Deathstar with a Destroyer Lord and Wraiths.
You'd said before that first turn your going to have to hide the Daemon Princes.
I can't think of anything worse than a Wraith Squad w/ a Destroyer Lord and they can all keep up with the Daemon Princes.
Otherwise that looks like a crazy tight list.

Check out Tomb Kings 'Ugly Misfits' in the Batreps section.
He used to run Necron/CSM which is similar but I think a better build.

Well, I've seen this kind of list played one or two times in our RTTs. But not overly successful. You have too many flyers. I'd go for a better ground control.

Drop one warrior squad and nightscythe. Buy some more scoring cultists.
Wraiths and d-lord as suggested will do better than the deathmarks and despair tek.
Dropping both units will get you 395pts. Dropping the overlord will save another 90 if he has no upgrades.
A wraithstar with 3 whipcoils and a D-lord with mss costs 400pts. That leaves you with 85pts for more for those cultists.

Anyway to easily give the Cultist some sort of fearless for 85 points?
