So, says my mate the other day - this Tuska fella. What became of him?
He's in the warp. He fights daemons all day every day, then gets resurrected each morning to do it again, I replied.
AHHH - but don't Orks get BIGGER and STRONGER as they keep fighting?
So what the heck would old Tuska look like now?
The Data sheet below seeks to answer that question. He's fun to play like this, but only really for the BIG games, where his ability to go OI! YOU! TITAN! YOUR MAMA WAS A RHINO!
Is super sweet.
He's expensive because he lays down god-level ar** whuppins like they were going out of fashion, and he gets to bring some of his demented Boyz out of the warp to help him!

I can't read any of this...
He should have 5 Wounds, though.

As for the rules, I think its fine for Apocalypse. Pretty hard to break apocalypse without D weapons tbh
@OP; I see 10k of Orks, an awesome custom datasheet, and a New Zealand flag... where you at man?

Seems a bit over-the-top, but I guess that was the intention.
Why WS 10? That's not only a lot better than any other ork, it's also significantly better than Kaldor Draigo, who is pretty much the go-to example of how awesome you can get fighting daemons all day every day.
Ld 10 is an issue too. That's better than Ghazghkull, supposedly one of the most brilliant and charismatic orks to ever live. Ld 9 and Fearless seems more suitable.
Some of the rules are a bit unclear, especially the one about charging friendly units. Does it mean that he can charge friendly units, or just that if he was in a position where he would have charged a friendly unit if he was allowed to the rule kicks in?
Does he have some way around the rules for assaulting after running? As written it seems that he can never actually assault a monstrous creature because he is forced to run towards them, meaning he can't charge.
If he's mostly made of warp-stuff, he should probably have the Daemon special rule.
Any particular reason not to give him the Monster Hunter special rule?

Amending the rules about running - it is, as you noted, better just to give him a motherlovin' huge charge range.
The idea is that he is a bit myopically fixated on killing huge monsters after so long in the Eye... he CAN charge friendlies and will kill them if he gets the chance!
As for the WS 10 - This was based on the fact that he's been constantly whaling on things like Bloodthirsters and Daemon Princes of Khorne for quite some time now. I thought it was nicely offset by his woefully Orky initiative...
And the LD 10 is based on his legendary status - Big Ghaz is a real and known Ork warboss of great renown - equate him to someone like General Patton or Alexander of Macedonia. Tuska is in the rank of a legend, who other greenskins talk about as the embodiment of the Waagh. He's more up there with Leonidas - a real guy who has become the stuff of mythology due to his badassery. Though with less abs and more armour. Also no beard. I'm inclined to agree though and make him Ld9 and fearless, or Ld9 and immune to all leadership based tests (so he aint afraid of no 'crons pesky gubbinz neither).
Sharpening up the run and charge rules is definitely necessary. The Daemon special rule would also nicely cover his deep striking ability, wouldn't it? AND the 5+ invulnerable. It's likely the GKs would be able to tell the difference between a reborn-again half-cybork daemon death machine and one which is 100 percent warp-entity, but then again, it's still wyrd and xeno, so they would feel a bit obliged to incinerate it anyway...
Monster Hunter special rule is definitely going in.
This datasheet is the result of some pretty loose playtesting, where the intent of the rules was arranged by (admittedly somewhat drunken) agreement. Needs to be more precise for the wider community, so expect a re-up very soon.
Cheers for the help!
Automatically Appended Next Post: Dying MIGHT reset his growth. But I like to think that ol' Khorne fancies watching a good scrap - he's seeing just how big and nasty an Ork can get on a diet of blood and violence! After all, it would never do for one of those green buggers to become tougher than what He of the Brass Undies can throw at them. As Tuska STARTED by mopping the floor with a world-ruler level DPrince, this looks like the kind of fight night that everyone would gather around the couch of skulls with popcorn to place their bets on...

lexicanum wrote:After hopelessly wandering various Daemon Worlds for many days, Tuska finally met the fight he was looking for when he encountered a world ruled over by a Daemon Prince of Khorne known as the Blood Prince. Battling the creature and his Daemonic hordes, Tuska suffered many deep wounds and his Boyz took heavy losses. Just as the Blood Prince was about to finish Tuska, his Weirdboyz managed to distract the Daemon using their psychic powers, giving Tuska enough time to impale the creature between its legs with his Power Klaw before being killed himself.
However, the story did not end there for Tuska. With every new day on the Daemon world, Tuska and his Boyz find themselves reanimated and do battle with the Daemonic hordes of the Blood Prince once more in an eternal cycle of life, battle, and death. This suits the Warboss just fine: he has finally found a good fight that never ends.
Lexicanum's page is slightly paraphrased from the codex, however, the daemon prince did -not- die whereas Tuska did.

He DID manage to - ahem - table the DP's meganob - wink wink, so even if it LIVED, it would have to be asking WHYYYYY?
And you can bet that dying just a bit would be nicer than an eternity of being taunted by Slaanesh and getting sent scrips for viagra from Nurgle.

Bah, it's a daemon prince, if it's using its wang for sex it's not being imaginative enough.
