Hey guys, not sure how many people who have read the new helbrute dataslate but there is a formation in there that allows the following:

-3 helbrutes taken as a single formation
-All helbrutes gain deep strike and must start in reserves, it will not die and roll on the crazed table every turn.
-there is no limit to how many formations you can take.

So I propose the following list

3 x helbrutes

Gives you 20 cultists in a bastion with a daemon prince hiding behind it for deployment

Turn 2 on a 3+ re rollable you get up to 12 helbrutes and 2 heldrakes to melta tanks and Baleflamer infantry.

Lush....but I'm pretty sure it won't work. Only because I'm pretty sure you can start no more than 50% of your units in reserve. You're proposing stating 6 on reserve and starting 3 on the table. And that's assuming the formation counts as one unit, which I'm pretty sure it doesn't. If it counts as 3 units it's even worse - 14 in reserve and 3 starting.

The 50% in reserves rule does not include units that must start in reserves such as the helbrutes and heldrakes. So technically I start 100% deployed

I might set half of those Helbrutes up for anti infantry. I'd also think about switching to a Tzeentch Prince.

Maybe take a Helcult instead of one of the Mayhem packs? Cheap fearless dudes and a durable helbrute are definitely worth looking at.
