Hi,

I got now around 1k Eldar army. Trying to reach 1850 with following list. Any thoughts?

I do not want SeerCouncil or BeastStar but i think that with lvl4 psyker (lesser chance for seer council to deny), hit and run from Baron and Missfortune I can cause some ]:-) issues to top builds.

I don't understand this list, you have DE allies for no purpose, same with the jetseer.

You would be better off with, a mantleseer to go up with WKs while eldrad stays with guardians.

While Fearless I can Hit and Run with Guardian block and do lots of shoots while having Divination buffs.. basically noone can tarpit my main unit. I can also use Jetseer for last round contest. I can also tank with 2+ invu shield.. Lots of possibilities

I don't think it would work to well with only 6" movement and 5+ AS for most of the unit, regardless try it out and let us know how it does.

keep in mind Eldrad doesn't have access to a jetbike. What units are your HQ's attached to?

My guardians do not need to advance. They got ~19-24" range to shoot if I need to use them. If lucky i can get 4+ invu with Fortune or use terrain for at least 4+ cover with fortune (thanks to Baron). Most my weapons are 36" so they can just sit on one objective while my fast moving army works on rest. Well we all know its all on paper so i will play few proxy games and let you know Don't under estimate 40 BS4 Bladestorm shoots (where they could be with ignore cover, reroll to hit, reroll to wound etc). In advance i can still sit back and enjoy 2 bright lance opening vehicle with perfect timing.

I don't doubt 20 guardians all within 12" range of their target, except if they get charged, 40 shots =6.6 hits and against MEQ units thats 3.3 wounds with a 1/3 chance of 1 being AP2.

there is always exception to exception. Foreboding and problem solved.. anyway thats why i got baron to get away and re do shooting part on my side. Also Eldrad with Force AP3 weapon is enough to stop knights or other monster from charging me..

I can see what you're trying to do with that guardian blob, but I don't think it will work too well for you.

Even if you get the powers you want, ideal circumstances being "Fortune, Forewarning, Prescience, Perfect timing", there's just not enough damage output in the unit. You'd have to charge them up the table, and T3 5+ bodies, even with 4+ cover, just isn't survivable, just to get to 12'' range and get beaten with a much better tarpit. A previous poster is right, you will not be able to get enough guardians into 12'' range to really lay the hurt on something.

Outside of 12'' range, your 205+155+220+105=685 point unit is contributing two bright lances to the game, as your opponent just avoids that 12' range.

If you are going to do this, find the points for a warlock for the blob. Warlocks are worth much more when they're protecting a bunch of models.
