IRILLYTH PHOENIX LORD OF THE SHADOW SPECTRES
Apologies for the all capitol thread title. I hate typing out the name so I copy and pasted it from the Forge World Webstie. This was a competition piece for Animosity's event gaming. I've painted one before but I felt that I had unfinished business with it. I've gone for a moody pallette of blues and turquoise.

I love the sense of movement in the Forge World Aspect Warriors. Very striking job! especially with the muted palette.

Just wow, and especially the back side looks stunning.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers. |

Maybe it's the photography, but something looks off about the face on the model. I'm not quite sure what it is. Overall, though, good job!
