Hi guys i will be entering a tournament next month, its 1850 and you can't use escalation, strong hold assault or any dataslates, so codex only + forgeworld. this is the list i am thinking of using, what you do think?

1850 Eldar/Space wolves
Farseer – 100 with dark reapers
[guide + 2 telepathy powers]

Spiritseer – 70 with dark reapers
[conceal + telepathy power]

3 Jet bikes – 61
Shuriken cannon

3 jet bikes – 61
Shuriken cannon

10 Guardians – 110
Bright lance
Wave serpent – 145
Twin scatter laser, shuriken cannon, holo field

5 Wraithguard – 160
Wave serpent – 145

2 War walkers – 140

Star shot x 4, exarch, fast shot

6 swooping hawks – 96

Rune priest – 105 with 9 hunters
Melta bomb [jaws and something else]

Total: 1850

The idea is if i face a seer council i can drop the rune priest next to them and hopefully stop a few of the powers as well as do a few wounds to them (possibly). The rest of the force will just do that it does and the dark reapers will hold the defense line with the seers to hopefully threaten anything they can see.

How do you think this list would do? and what would you guys change?

I would make several changes,

1) remove cannons from the jetbike units, they are for late game objective grabbing, not combat

2) the guardians don't need a BL platform

3) don't mix roles with walkers, take only lances, or only SL

Arbiter pretty much covered it.

I would get your rune priest in terminator armor with a combi melta over the melta bombs. Makes em a bit tougher to kill, and gives you a second melta shot on the drop. For your second power, living lightning is really good for mid strength dakka when you don't need jaws.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

So if i just drop the lance, and 2 cannons, use the points to give the priest terminator armour that will do? No other real changes?

If the Farseer is going to sit with the reapers behind the ADL, I would roll all 3 powers on Divination instead. Many of the telepathy powers require you to be within 24" of the enemy, a place where Reapers dont need to be. With Div, you can still get your re-rolls with the primaris and have the opertunity to grab a 4+ invul for the squad, overwatch at full BS, reserve manipulation to keep the jetbikes off the table until turn 4, etc. Make sure you bring a couple of large buckets to catch your enemy's tears if you roll perfect timing.

I would go roll on Div first to see if you get a good power, if you do roll again and take prescience, and then roll on telepathy, divination has GOOD powers, but the chance to puppet master, or stop a unit from charging is fantastic as well.
