For the Lion and Terra!

Because nothing in the galaxy is black and white, Mankind views the Space Marines as a last resort. The last line. When all else fails. They take up the burden. The noble defenders of Mankind. The last hope.

With finecast you can bypass the washing stage and throw them straight into the bin.

Or cut out the middleman and just flush some money down the toilet.

Did you forget the cardinal rule of hobbying? I know I do all the time. "Never cut twords yourself, always cut away from your fingers and body."

My left pointer finger is proof of that, it currently has 3 nice size cuts 2 from a knife and one from a razor saw.

Super Glue that shut! I've done it ton's of times, works like a charm! Hurts, and you do have to peel it off later which can also start the bleeding again, but for bad cuts I'm positive it's helped me not get stitches once or twice!

Fun fact, super glue was developed during WW2 and was used in the Vietnam war as a spray for battle wounds.

The more you know

If it hurts I think you are doing it wrong. Superglue usually STOPS the pain because it seals the cut from air and makes a rigid bond so the skin isn't flexing and further tearing at the nerves. Try to avoid getting a lot of super glue IN the cut, hold the flesh together and apply superglue over the top. Because the superglue we use is not medical grade, it's best to not get it inside the cut as you don't know what additives are in it.

Also, if you're reopening the cut by peeling off the superglue, this is bad!! If you keep reopening a cut it's less likely to heal properly, you don't want to go to pick up something heavy while moving house in a year's time and have your hand split open because of a cut that never healed properly.

If you apply superglue OVER the cut rather than in to the cut, it should just naturally peel off in a day or two and you can reapply if you need to.

You can tell I have the fingerprints of a hobbyist. Several of my fingers you can see a line where the natural crevices don't line up because I've sliced them and they weren't lined up again when they healed.

I think you need to base your model with your on blood, and paint over it.

Being a chaos model.
That just sounds like the right thing to do.

Just for information, how are you holding the knife when cutting to get such a nasty slice in your finger?

I only use surgical scalpells with fresh blades. They are sort of designed to cut through my flesh and I don't consider this a problem since I don't really cut myself.

I still don't understand how people can cut themselves with hobby knives. I usew a Stanley knife (exacto) blade and I have never cut myself. note: I use the naked blade.

All I hear is my fingers this my fingers that, I'm a hobbyist.

20 years a Rigger/fixer and Carpenter, eat some concrete lads!

And yeah, cut away from yourself and if you need to strain to cut it, think again and also maybe change to a sharper blade.
