Does anyone know if the H&S Ultra airbrush is compatible with the Neo Air compressor?

I have no idea what that airbrush and compressor is like, but in general, an airbrush is compatible with any compressor that can supply at LEAST the minimum pressure and flow rate you need (so you can use something much more massive if you want).

At most you'll need to buy the correct fittings, make sure the compressor end of the hose goes in to the compressor (or regulator, moisture trap, etc) and the airbrush end of the hose fits the airbrush. You can buy adapters as well if you can't find a hose that can do both the compressor and airbrush sides.

Assuming this is the compressor you are talking about:

http://www.iwata-medea.com/products/compressors/neo-air-compressor-specifications/

Which has a cfm rating of .37 at what I am assuming is max pressure.

Your H&S needs a cfm rating of .5 @ 40psi I believe. That would mean that the Neo is underpowered for your airbrush. Assuming the Neo can maintain a 15psi while constantly running, the compressor will be able to supply pressure, but will not be able to keep up with the needed flow of air. The result will be that your air compressor will be constantly running, will heat up, air flow will decrease, and all of this will result in spray performance that is sub-optimal.

Yes so what air compresor would you recommend then keeping within the £100 budget give or take £10?

Something like this perhaps.

There might be a cheaper alternative but this was the first I found. I do recommend having a tank but if you want without you can save a few £.

I just found this one what do you think:

Its the Sparmax Professional Mini Piston Airbrush Compressor.

Seems like an OK compressor but as I said. I prefer with a tank.

I thought we where staying under £100. The kit seems nice but a little higher price than the others.
