I recently got both the MO starter set and the NT starter set and after having a few games it both seems they both have their own strengths and weaknesses. Im wondering what would be a good thing to purchase next. Most lists I see have some variety of robot in them and maybe a dedicated doctor/hacker as well. Apart from that direction I have no idea, any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, not very compatible purchases. I'd recommend a Fusilier with hacking device, Sierra or similar REM, spec op and support box. These elements are shared and should make a rather solid foundation.

Military Order:
- Konstantinos
- Order Sargent
- Order Sargent with Spitfire
- Knight of Holy Sepulchre

Neo Terra:
- Auxilia, you can also use Auxbots with your Order Sargent
- Box of Deva

Seems to get the most out of your collection it may be best to just play vanilla Pan'O at this point.

I second the Auxilia, they are a good unit and a lot of fun.

You might also try and mixing the two forces and running a default PanO force. That way you can mingle all sorts of units together. The new Neoterran Bolts are neat, and as Knight said, the Remotes for PanO are really useful. The Sierra is my personal favorite.

I would turn it around and ask what you like in the PanO line, and where you'd like to head when building up your force. If you like the Knights, you can go into the Military Order line, start picking up some Hospitalers or Crusader Bretheren. More generic PanO you can look at TAGs, or the crazy Heavy Infantry like the Swiss Guard or Aquila Guard.

PanO has a ton of great options, and a lot of fun themes to play with. So your personal preference really matters when you're only going to have 10-12 models on the field.

I tend to like going for models you can proxy as others easily, e.g order sergeants can be normal fusiliers without too much trouble and Hexas can be used as Spec Sergeants and vice versa. I may look into auxilia as they look like they have some proxy versatility as well, sierra's also look very useful. Thanks for the recommendations.

I was also torn between those 2 forces (pre NT starter). I went MO. I loved painting them, the models are great. I have just enough knights to field them all and I'm 2 Teutons short of a full Ava. I do feel I'm missing something not going NT... Mainly a TAG. But I like the looks of the knights more so.

As to the question. I would check out:
MO- Holy Sepulcure Knight, Santiago with Spitfire, Crusader Brethren, Order Sgt w/ Spitfire, possibly some remotes. You can pick up the Auxila box and use the bodies as your engineer and doctor with slight sculpting work. This way you get Aux bots to use with Order Sgts.

NT- Swiss Guard and Aquila Guard, Auxila, Devas, remotes.

Stick with what models you love the looks of and you really can't go wrong. Each force has tools for the job.

The problem is when you like everything. While I have enough models to do a full Bahram or QK list (at the same time now), I basically get generic Haqqislam. I like all of their designs. Hassassins? Absolute badasses. QK? Hodgepodge mix of awesome looking mercs and awesome looking Haqq units. Vanilla also has some awesome stuff only it has access to. The new Captain Islam made me distinctly aware that I'm going to want to play Caliphate, and the idea of Khanate forces are growing on me. So yeah, basically everything Haqqislam.

Haha! Captain Islam.

Yeah, I'm the same way, I probably have 800+ Points of Haqq just from me being insane.

And then 300 points of Ariadna.

And 400 points of PanO.

...and I'm working on my Yu Jing right now.

Somebodyhelpme.

Well im not planning on playing at any competitive level so I guess a certain amount of proxying is fine. I had to buy that ALEPH sniper character (Atalanta?) simply because i like the model so much, thinking i should probably be able to proxy it as a sniper Hexa or sniper spec sergeant.

Deviating a little from my OP, whats everybody's favourite infinity model?

So many good choices but I think I fell in love with the new SunTzu model. And saying that I just ordered a Santiago Knight with Spitfire to pretty much complete my PanO. My former favorite Aquila Guard with HMG is pretty jealous currently. ^^ Edit: Looking at it again, Ajax from Aleph and the new Morat Sogarat with Feuerbach are really up there, too.

Many good suggestions above. Not really much to add. Maybe give another voice to the Auxilia vote, I often use two or more not matter which list. I like them that much. And the flamerbots are quite distinctive so hard to proxy imho.

As goofy as a lot of people think it is, I really love the Maghariba Guard. It is nowhere near as detailed or fancy or badass as the other models in the range, but I love me some giant killer mecha.

And it makes a great centerpiece.

We don't think it is goofy at all. The scorpion tank, or spider tank, is awetastic. It is just too big.

I like the turquoise. I'm using it on my haqq figures too.

Well, I think the Maghariba is a bit cartoonish. The design aesthetic of Infinity, as well as the miniatures' quality, has changed over the years, so a lot of the older models don't fit in that well any more.

As for the question, it's sort of hard for me to nominate a favourite model, as the answer to "Which is my favourite model in the range?" and "Which is my favourite model in my collection?" are different. The experience and results of a conversion are a far more important factor in my feelings for a model than what I started with.

For the "in the range" question, it was really the combined efforts of the Asawira Spitfire and Djanbazan Hacker that made me decide I was going to be a Haqqislam player, rather than a Yu Jing player.
For the "in my collection" question, that would currently be my Panzerfaust Asra'il, who started life as a Domaru Butai. (Extra plus points are earned for having been awesome in game so far).

I'm in the camp of the Maghariba being awesome. Along with the chicken remotes, it gives Haqqislam robotics a unique look.

Yes they are very nice, and as you say very characterful and distinctly Haqqislam.

Chemical Cutthroat, those look absolutely awesome by the way! Lovely colour combination.
