I'm really curious about this new beast:

The problem is, we already have a tank that is very similar - the Manticore.

So my guess is that the Stormshard mortars won't be lobbing large blast templates, but small blast ones instead, very similar in profile to the Space Marine Thunderfire Cannon.

My guess is:

S7 AP4 Heavy 4, Barrage

Would also be cool if it were D6+1 instead of 4.

Thoughts?

It will also likely be heavy 4 or heavy 2 twin linked (there are four barrels...)

Oh right, that's just icing on the cake! So we have open-topped 12/10/10 with a gun 48" S4 AP6 heavy 2 twinlinked/heavy 4, barrage, blast, ignores cover, shred

Just what we needed!

My sarcasm meter is off the charts lol.

I think we're doing just fine with the Manticore and the Leman Russ Eradicator

It'll deffffffinitely fill that gaping anti-infantry hole in my guard army. I can just never find any blast weapons to deal with hordes...
