GW are neither the game's developer nor its publisher. This game has nothing to do with GW outside of them collecting the money


That's simply not true, it's the same pretending-to-not-be-responsible the Football Association trotted out this week wrt the pricing of replica kits.

It is well within GW's power and right to say the licensee can/can't promote and sell the game in certain ways. That they choose not to is entirely GW's doing.

Ofc GW don't give a flying gak about brand or company perception anyway, so I don't see why anyone would realistically expect or hope they would take a reasonable approach.
