Subject: Can Dwarf Ironbreaker shields be usedin 40K as Storm Shields???

Hi.
As an ongoing project I was looking at te Iron breakers set and wondering if the shields would be suitable foruse as Storm Shields in my Space Wolves army?
I like the aesthetic, and I will be incorporating dwarven weapons into my army as I feel that they have the right 'feel' but I am worried about the size of the shields. I dont want to buy thm and then find the shields would be comically small. If they were going to be tiny then I may consider trying to make some of my own, but I cant do knotwork for toffee
I havent got any way of getting to a gaming store at the moment as I am stuck at sea just now.
So I am hoping that some kindly dakknauts could advise me and if possible maybe show a picture of the shield beside, say a terminator or Space Marine for size comparison.on a boat just now.
Thanks in advance

Ah okay, cheers for that, Nicky J. A great help.
Looks like I'll be making my own and relying on the photocopier at work
I still fancy a few of them, even if I just set them aside for now until I use thm on some other wolves.
Now to see if I can convince any dakkanaughts to sell me some shoulderpads or atleast a couple so I can make moulds of the knotwork and decorate my wolves with them

If you pick up some Tau drones you could make a neat conversion with the dwarf shields as bosses.

That may be worth bearing in mind, cheers Flinty.
Or if I go down th molding route, i could mold the knotwork design and stick it to a drone body which has been smoothed out with putty
So the shopping list grows, if anyone has some drone tops and shields and shoulderpads for irondrakes let me know!
