Wanting to buy a bulk of 40k in the UK.

I'm wanting the best discount plus a good shipping time if either of these pros exist, where can I find it? Also the lower price is better.

I have been looking at triple helix but I like to keep my options open.

The magic 8-ball says if you're after any brand new GW stuff the best way to be really certain to get it on release is direct from GW

(as if there are shortages or problems GW disappoints the independents and keeps more stock for itself)

Darksphere has a lot of positive feedback (if not the highest discounts) and I've used them myself

Also getting positives recently Element Games and Triple Helix (not used them personally for GW)


Wayland Games seem to be getting mixed reviews

Totalwargamer has plenty of negative feedback (although much better on non-gw stuff) but the best discounts

It's not brand new, infact its a chunk of DE.

I just had a look at Dark sphere there discount seems pretty good. Its looking like Triple helix or Darksphere as it stands

Whats the consensus on Gift for geeks?

Dark Sphere is my preference, they've always been very reliable.

Ebay, but i shop at my local so i get a free gaming table

I tend to stick with Darksphere myself. Good service, good discount and the fact they have an actual store in London is great. 20 to 25% discount I believe.

Firestorm gets you 10% off I believe and are very reliable they are also my flgs.

Total wargamer are probably the cheapest and while I haven't had a problem with them lots of people have had issues with them.

Not tried anyone after problem with Total Wargamer who were absolutely abysmal, really don't go there

One of our local second-hand console game shops sells GW stuff at a 10% discount and will order if not in stock so I generally use them now

Total Wargamer are pretty cheap but I waited over 8 weeks for delivery, Didn;t have much Dark Eldar either. Ebay is the way to go for me.

I use gift for geeks after trying both triple helix and total wargamer.

Triple helix are not great but in comparison to total wargamer they are good.

Avoid total wargamer... I had issues with all 3 orders.... Took at least 1-2 months for delivery... The third order didn't arrive after two months and so asked for a refund... Money hit my account (no joke) 2 months later!!!

Haven't tried element or dark sphere as I use gift for geeks... They have good customer service, a discount, good stock and relatively prompt deliver (never had something take longer than 3 weeks, usually 5 days).

Element Games. They do decent discounts, and delivery is very reliable. I normally place an order on a Friday, and it always arrives on the Saturday, saving a trip to the post office. Great if you work 9-5.

Ordered a Stormraven and a box of Mantic Zombies through Wayland though. Just because they had their free shipping over £40 offer on. Ordered on the 22 of March, still not dispatched, despite both items being listed as available when I ordered. This has happened to me before at Wayland, but I didn't seem to learn from it. They're getting an email this morning.

Definitely should have just picked up another box of something to make it up to £80 and ordered from Element.

The delay with your order is that the Zombies are no longer available in boxes of 20. We have tried to source these but can not locate any.
As we just discussed over the phone your order is being shipped out today with the Zombies refunded for you.

Yes, indeed, to update.

And in fairness to Jake and Wayland. Jake did indeed phone me as soon as I queried the order and the issue is resolved. So thanks for that Jake, though I hope you've now taken the discontinued box off your site.

Still like Element though.

Element is the best I've used by far. Great website and their service is impeccable.

+1 for element, Gifts for geeks. Placed Many orders and never had any issues.

Another vote for Element Games, but I shop in person. The store price is the same as the web price.
