... seems to be gone from the GW site. It still appears in the "ads" on the page and can be added to the cart. However, clicking on the product in the cart leads to the main page.

Not sure if it warrants a thread, or is wishing, but it would be nice if it means plastic ones are on the way.

A lot of items have been disappearing and reappearing; it's usually just an item going out of stock and/or some weirdness with the new webstore they're launching this week.

They're destroying the moulds.

If you have a big website with a lot of records on it, then a major migration might force you to phase in the re-introduction of all the materials in the new format, depending on various sorts of technical details, such as image dimensions, that would cause you to do too much work to reconfigure everything in one go.

However if the items have disappeared before the migration, it is more likely that they are just out of stock, and GW do not want to build up backorders.

As to why they might be out of stock, the most likely reason is that GW seem to have reduce their level of stock in hand, and are trying to operate a leaner supply chain to cut down costs. It is tricky to get this right, so I think probably that particular model is just waiting for a resupply.

It is also possible that they have decided to change the production, such as move it to polystyrene, and ran out of stock of the old item before the new type is ready.

Uk site also has banshees and warp spiders missing.

We have an ongoing thread that has been on the FRONT PAGE for two weeks about this. We probably don't need a separate thread for each SKU.

Way to miss the point.... Read the linked thread. Do you think each and every SKU missing posted there needed its own thread? We have a unified thread for missing items. Some items are only missing from one region and not another; should we split up the threads on this single topic even further and have a separate EU missing harlie thread and NA missing harlie thread in case there is a difference?
