I'm looking for one specifically - A Battle Barge. I've checked over eBay, but all they turn up are painted ones. Now, I'm not adverse to stripping and repainting, but most BFG Battle Barges on eBay (and there are only a few I must add) are going for exorbitant sums IMO. Is there anywhere else I may find one of these models?

You could always ask around at the local shops and clubs and see if anyone has some mothballed away.

You pretty much have to bite the bullet with this one. Since they're discontinued from both GW and Forge World and most re-sellers outside eBay are sold out, the prices for BFG models tend to be pretty high. A lot of people (like me) saw this coming and stocked up on them for personal use and re-selling.


Your best bet would be to ask around your local gamers or make a post in the trade shop on here with the prices you are offering and see if you get a bite.

Whilst not exactly what you are after.
There are some very cool looking ships on Shapeways, that fit with the BFG aesthetic and scale. It wouldn't surprise me if they worked out much cheaper than what some people charge on ebay.

They're metal any resin ones would be recasts I assume.

Have you looked at the firestorm armada minis, I'm pretty sure there are some suitably imperial looking models in there.
