Outlaw of Gor is such a good episode because it's such a terrible terrible movie!!!

I could never watch MST3K. I can't STAND people talking over a movie... even movies I hate.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

Yeah, Outlaw of Gor is a terrific episode of the show with one of the best host segments ever, "Toobular Boobular Joy".

As for the somewhat irrelevant comment here, the whole point of MST3K is the jokes, it's a comedy show. Additionally, some of the movies used to hang the jokes on are virtually unwatchable without them while others would never have been seen by anyone without MST3K making them famous (e.g., Manos).

When MST3K first began in MN they set up an answering machine for the local only viewers of KTMA so they could gauge the reaction to their show. They knew they had hit a nerve with the right people when many people left messages raving about the show, one message simply said, "more, more, MORE!". However, humorously, there was at least one message left for the show's makers that complained about them talking over the movie. Long ago Joel Hodgson once said they didn't worry about who would "get it", they knew that the "right people would get it". That's clearly as true today as it was 20 years ago. No one, including MSTies, likes people talking over a movie if they are watching THE MOVIE, but if you're watching MST3K you're watching a comedy show and doing so for the jokes.
