Title basically covers it. I am playing my orks against a GK ( I think) Imperial Kinight army tomorrow. Points limit if 1250. What should I expect? Do the orks even have anything that stands a chance against the imperial knight, or should I just concede now?

I guess that is what I am asking. What should I bring? The list I made before my opponent told me he had the knight was/is:

Warboss
10 lootas
11 burnas & mek in a looted wagon
3 mega nobs in a truck
20 Shoota boys in a battle wagon
30 Slugga/choppa boys
Dakkajet
2 def coptas with rokit launchas

Deffrolla on wagons will screw knights over pretty well.
I'd keep the dakkajet too as they are damn good and GK/knights struggle to shoot them down. (infact, a knight cant shoot it down really)

I'd just run as many of the above as you can then add in your usual units for fighting marines.

I would love to see 2 units of 5 deffkoptas with rokkits in this scenario. They dont get ID'd by the battlecannon, they have their jink against it, they have high to-hit-ratio for orks, can penetrate all facings and are mobile enough to get any facing. Keep them in reserves and outflank for the alphastrike.

Ende up dropping the burnas and some of the loota squad to get a 2nd battle wagon putting rollas on both. Ended up killing the knight with the rolla losing the wagon and 1/2 the passengers in the explosion. It could have gone either way though I needed to bear down on the knight with both battle wagons to make sure I would get my chance.

You want to bring as many battlewagons and trukks as possible. Divide his fire, then hit him with deffrollas and wrecking balls, and power klaws. You should wreck the knight pretty well. Flyers are good idea too. I will doing a similar match tomorrow and I am bring as many trukks as possible as I have no wagons or flyers. Good luck! WAAAAGH!!!!!!

Deffrollas, boarding planks, Power Klaws and Kannons. If you can get close and tank shock, then boarding plank with a PK you can do some serious damage. Throw in a grot firing a kannon and you might strip a Hull Point here and there too. Nothing like a grot landing a killing blow on a 350+ point unit

I feel the need, the need for speed.
