My VMA US Vietnam Olive box just arrived to me yesterday. There seems to be a new one which is on the Vallejo site currently;

http://www.acrylicosvallejo.com/en_US/us-vietnam-olive-drab/family/17/140

This one below is the one I have, in which the lightest colour is VMA Light Grey Green

Haven't had a chance to try it out yet though. Certainly more grey looking than the yellower "sand".

I do have the sand colour separate from the first set I listed, I know that that is very light, certainly lighter than how the light grey green appears to look.

So I guess it's up to your preference as to how strong you want you're highlights to be.

Hope this helps.

This Is Where the Fish Lives

I use a mix of Reaper Master Series and Vallejo Model Air for my Raptors. This is the color progression I use, from darkest to lightest, with black primer:

RMS Olive Shadow
RMS Olive Green
RMS Worn Olive
VMA US Light Grey

I'm not really a fan of VMA Olive Drab because I find it a little too brown for my liking. Since I prefer my Raptors to be more green, I used VMA Olive Grey until I switched to RMS paints. Here is a color swatch I made for someone comparing all the olive drab colors I have (VMA US Light Grey is missing from this chart because it isn't a "drab" color... it is a light grey-green):
