I find that score unlikely. Even just from the thread titles you've created you have a higher score than that.

117/300...I thought I wasn't much of a geek, but seeing the ratings of others I'm not so sure. I mean, some of those questions should really be weighted, right?

Oh, darn it...having just written that I should probably up my total to 118 for critiquing the reliability of the questionnaire.

If I had been into comics I probably would have scored higher, its not that I don't like them, just never really got into them xD

But some of those questions should be given additional weight, and some should get less. Also, this pretty much only covers really mainstream geek categories. (i.e., there was a greater quantity of questions about GoT, MTG, and comics than say, video-game modding, Stargate, etc).

Also, a lot of the "follow-up" style questions didn't apply to me for the specific subject mentioned, but would apply for a different question (such as some of the "do you know this phrase by heart?" questions).

But hey, I already knew I wasn't that obsessive as a geek... except that I took the time to analyze the relative merits of a silly online quiz...

I cant believe people take the time to fill these bloody things in!

I was at about 40/80 by the time I got bored and fethed it off though, and that was basically just from reading comics. I would presume that any busy reader would break 100 just off books and graphic novels alone.

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

109/300. Lots of stuff are a huh in that list. Game of Thrones is overrated and MTG is plain out boring in my eyes (just like most cardgames) so a lot of that fell off. Plus DC/Marvel comics do not get sold here.

Edit: Would be 130 actually. Forgot some questions.

165 out of 300 - you beat me.

And, yeah - it is way too heavily weighted, and is, I think, aimed at younger geeks than I. They left FORTRAN out of the computer languages, and APL! You don't get geekier than APL! (APL stands for 'A Programming Language' GNU was not the first geeky name, either.)

No questions about 'Have You Ever Written A Program On Punch Cards?'

This is all... all... Pop culture geeks!

*Sputter! Fume!*

The Auld Grump - my first programming course was on an Altair....

*EDIT* And no history geek questions! Where is Ada Lovelace, for the love of all the ones and zeroes?! Where is Rotwang?!

No mad science geekery questions! No 'Have you ever built a Tesla Coil? No 'Have you ever made an X-Ray machine?' No 'Have you ever made an atom smasher?; (Well, we tried - the darned thing just would not hold a vacuum.)

No questions in Fennish!
