You'll probably have better luck with a 1/35 kit. Real, functional aircraft tend to have longer, thinner wings and fuselages than their 40k counterparts. To achieve the dimensions you want, it's generally easier to cut down a kit of sufficient girth than build skinny parts out. Most biplanes also aren't terribly large aircraft - a 1/35 Sopwith Camel will still be reasonably small, while a 1/35 C-130 would be much larger than you want.
Still, this is just a general guideline. Best thing you can do is look up the dimensions of the Dakkajet and compare them to any kit that looks interesting.
