I call em the Thunda Stompas. They are a Freebooter clan form a planet that produces blue fungi. They are going to be a mash-up of pirates and vikings with blue skin. This is my first test model, and I have to say I was worried it wouldn't look right, but I'm very happy with what came out

So for the blue orkiness I did

Base coat of PP Cygnar Blue Base
Highlights with PP Cygnar Blue Highlight
Further Highlight with Mix of Cygnar Blue Highlight and GW White Scar
Finished off with a wash of GW Guilliman Blue Glaze

It's a very cartoonish style you have. It's fun and whimsical. It fits the Orks better than most.

Perhaps I would go without the red striped pants though

I think if you made the pants a light beige (almost white), it would kinda make for a winter themed look which would be striking!

That is certainly a very blue ork.

Looks like his arms aren't quite attached properly at the shoulders, but other than that job's a good 'un. The stripey pants are a nice touch, and I really like the glyph plate on his back.

Eh, i dont fully seat my arms on my boyz or firewarriors either because its sometimes hard to get them to hold the gun properly if you do. Tiny crack, big deal its not meant to be looked at up close anyway.

Have to admit when i saw blue orks i immediately thought of a frost klan. But he doesnt look frozen, he looks smurf-tastic!
