So, I didn't see anything like this so I thought I'd make a thread about a new action/shooter on PC (browser based, yeah I know, all hope is lost) style game, where the lead game play designer is one of the best EU WoW players so expect some similarities. Where players duke it out in arena style games, with a choice of several bots (their design is one of the best things in the game and some of the best transformers design I've seen). It's currently in closed beta but I got access the night after I signed up so don't expect much. They have regular beta events similar to ESO but they're shorter periods but far more often, maybe 2 times a week.

I'd love to tell more info on the game and all it's cons but I'll just give a small bit of my opinions (NDA)

The Pro's are very good but theirs an insecticon horde of con's making an underwhelming experience. As for actual performance, its not optimised well but that's beta, also many random FPS drop's especially when your transforming.

I tried out the Character Creator(very similar to CoX/STO) at Botcon 2011 when it was still scheduled to be an MMORPG. I'm much less interested in what it got turned into.

Also, for those with interest in such things, the game's storyline is Aligned and ties into the Prime cartoon as well as WFC/FOC. In fact, the show/con art they've been using for Barricade and Prowl are both based off of Smokescreen's character model from Prime.

As long as the creator is better than WFC/FOC, I'll be okay with it

There is NO creator, as Platuan has said what the game is becoming is not so great and worse, they still Market it as they did, the game was very underwhelming the first time I played and didnt live up to what the Dev's say.

I've noticed a few Moderators even down right lie or use "your not in beta" so you never know as a scapegoat. Tge most recent incident being in a conversation on the lack of variety of tge alt modes, a mod replied saying "we've only revealed 6 and there's more I'm beta that you don't know about" thing is, I'm in beta, spoiler alert, the ones you guys "don't know about" are just the same realigned van, with a single dune buggy and muscle car per faction.

Ah. Well, never mind. I'll probably leave this alone.

When my friend showed this game to me, I signed up ASAP I was excited as gak for anew transformers game that hopefully would be a proper PC exclusive FoC. Bit by bit I learned bits and pieces of info about this game that disappointed me. No character customisation, a browser game (seriously, in this day and age?) and other tidbits. But I pressed on, I wanted o see how it'd actually be, and now after playing several beta events, im disappointed, mind you I'm yet to actually get into meaty combat due to 10 second input lag (sounds like an exaggeration but it aint) and even 5 FPS, the only thing nostalgic about this transformers game is that it reminded me of games from 1995!

Also something on a less mechanical level, The variety is appalling! Here's a post I made on the issue

Yes you do, which is why it is very stupid that you ONLY have trucks, I'm serious, you could have at least 1 flying vehicle, your reason for not adding anything else is quite lacking in logic, if you have a large pool of you don't do exclusively one, even having a single flying vehicle would be nice, or even an odd ground vehicle like a battle tank. But NO, the whole game is like an ad for Volvo vans!

Which I find very misleading as he suggests that in the beta their is more variety, which is factually incorrect, there's still only vans and cars. Thank god I'm in the beta to have found out this poor moderator misconduct. No personal attack Mod crow, but please don't suggest anything that is incorrect to build hype.

I'll come back in a few months, please fix these problems, please.
